What is a Feeder School On-Farm Training?
The feeder school training is an in-person program for people that are currently feeding dairy cows, people that want to become feeders, or anyone interested in learning more about dairy cows' nutrition and the art of feeding cows!
This program would cover the basics of the dairy cows' nutrition, how you can improve the feed management to achieve optimal performance and zero waste, feed bunk management, TMR audits, and more! (Check out the flyer for the last edition and the youtube videos of the previous online feeder school).
We are looking to host a Feeder School On-Farm Training in our region this fall as part of a Cornell Statewide program and would like your input!
Please fill out this quick 2-minute survey to help us know if this topic interests you and the topics you want to be covered.
